The area around Närsån offers beautiful nature and a rich birdlife. Even under the water surface, the species diversity can be astonishing. In addition to common fish species such as perch, pike and roach, there are also roach, tench, ide and sometimes even silver rudd in the river. The lower part of Närsån, a stretch of 2.4 km, is open for fishing with a fishing license.
The stretch that applies starts above Gangvidefarm and down to the river mouth. It is clearly visible as there are signs posted. A valid fishing license must be on hand during the entire fishing trip so that it can be shown when inspected.
The fishing license is personal and all fishing without a valid fishing license is considered illegal fishing.
