Övre Ångermanälven och Mesjöområdet

The area, about 65 km, consists of the stretch between Volgsjöns fvo (Volgsjöfors dam) and the Åsele urban area. Here you can fish for several species such as trout, grayling, perch, pike, whitefish, lake trout and roach. The area is open for sport fishing with fly rods and spinning rods, also from a boat. All waters within are open for fishing with hand gear. Ångermanälven applies to Grayling 3 pieces of cards/day, minimum size 30 cm. Perch lake in Åsele applies to 3 fish per card/day, minimum size 30 cm. Trout Ångermanälven except for the special stretch, minimum size 45 cm. 3 trout – cards/day.
