Ramsjön is part of the Huskvarnaån water system and is located 221 meters above sea level, approximately 12 kilometers northeast of Huskvarna.
The lake has an area of approximately 1.65 km2, a maximum depth of 19 meters and an average depth of 7.7 meters. The beaches consist mainly of sand, stone and clay. The lake is beautifully situated in relatively mountainous surroundings where mixed forest and some arable and pasture land constitute the area closest to the lake.
The lake has an abundant population of perch, but also a good supply of pike and zander.
Fishing in the lake is permitted from September to July.
