Lake Aspen is located in Långserud and is 344 ha in size with a shoreline of 14,500 m. It is a beautifully situated lake surrounded by both forest, pastures and fields. There are both deep holes and shallows, average depth 6.6 m. Popular fishing water for perch and pike perch. The lake is part of the Lillälventuren canoe trail.

Sjön Aspen ligger i Långserud och är 344 Ha stor med en strandlinje på 14 500 m. Maxdjupet i sjön är 14 m och medeldjup 6,6 m. Aspen är mest känd för sitt fina gösfiske, men det finns även gott om gädda, abborre och mört.
Spridning av sjukdomar
För att minimera risken för spridning av fisk- och kräftsjukdomar skall endast betesfisk från det vatten i vilket fisket bedrivs användas. Redskap, båtar m.m. bör rengöras när de flyttas mellan olika sjöar och vattendrag.
Fisketillsyn
Fisketillsyn utövas av utbildade personer utsedda av Aspens fvof. Fiskekort skall medföras och kunna uppvisas på begäran. Det åligger fiskekortsinnehavaren att ta reda på och följa gällande bestämmelser, samt att kunna legitimera sig. Tjuvfiske anmäls till polismyndigheten och utrustningen beslagtas. Vid brott mot fiskereglerna kan styrelsen besluta om kontrollavgift på max 2000 kr alt. avstängning i max 5 år.
