South of Svenljunga are Stora Kvarnsjön and Lilla Kvarnsjön.
Stora Kvarnsjön is 90ha, with a maximum depth of 25 meters. The lake is divided by an island, where there are barbecue and swimming facilities. There is also a boat ramp.
