Storsjön's Fiskevårdsområde covers approximately 7500 ha. This includes the entire Storsjön, Gavelhytteån up to the dam in Hammarby, Vallbyån (Broasån) up to the first road bridge, Borrsjöån and Jädraån up to the respective railway bridge, Fänjaån up to the bridge in Fänja and Koppartjärn.
Storsjön's FVOF aims to offer good quality fishing. In order to be able to offer this in the long term, it is necessary to limit the removal of fish and respect the rules that the association has decided on.
A patchy and hilly lake with several islands. The lake offers great fishing for zander and pike.
