About the water
Lake Summeln is about 500ha and is located in the western part of Kila parish in Säffle municipality.
The lake is nutritious and has a rich fish population. There are plenty of pike, perch and whitefish. The availability of pike perch is moderate.
To minimize the risk of spreading fish and crayfish diseases, only bait fish from the water in which fishing is conducted should be used. Gear, boats, etc. should be cleaned when moved between different lakes and waterways.

Fishing rights owner
Summelns Fiskevårdsområdesförening bildades 1984.
Föreningen har som syfte att samordna fiskets bedrivande och fiskevården, samt att upplåta fiskerätt till allmänheten. Kräftfiske ingår ej i föreningens ansvarsområde.
För att minimera risken för spridning av fisk- och kräftsjukdomar skall endast betesfisk från det vatten i vilket fisket bedrivs användas. Redskap, båtar m.m. bör rengöras när de flyttas mellan olika sjöar och vattendrag.
