The rapids fishing area sometimes offers very good fishing for salmon and sea trout. All salmon and sea trout that are going up to the undeveloped Vindelälven river swim past the area. On the stretch you can also catch grayling, perch and pike.

The special stretches Öringskanalen and Baggböleören will open again on November 1st.
Areas along the river stretch that are not marked on the map (see map tab) are completely closed for all.
