Uvasjön is a beautiful 150 ha forest lake located at Fröseke in Uppvidinge municipality, on the border between Kronoberg and Kalmar counties. The distance to Nybro is 30 km, to Växjö 80 km, to Oskarshamn 75 km and to Kalmar 55 km. The Alsterån flows through the lake, which contributes to the lake's fine fishing. The Alsterån is included in the area with a stretch of about 7 km upstream of the lake. In the lake and in the river you can fish for perch, pike, zander. Uvasjöns FVOF, which manages the area and sells fishing licenses, has on several occasions released zander; a fishery that is still unexplored. Large fish are found of several species, among others, pike has been caught weighing 12 kg. Welcome to fish in Uvasjön's FVOF where you are offered excitement, nature experiences and relaxation. Fishing suits all categories. FISHING WATERS and FISH SPECIES Uvasjön is an easily accessible fishing lake. In the Alsterån, upstream of the lake, fishing is offered with varied accessibility. The number of fish species found in the lake is 11; perch, pike, zander, bream, tench, roach, ger, roach, blubber, roach and eel. This makes Uvasjön a species-rich and varied fishing lake. There is a nice swimming area in Fröseke. In the Kingdom of Crystal there are lots of activities and attractions, including hiking trails, nature and glassworks.
