Uppland forest lake with plenty of pike, perch and zander.

Vällen is a fantastic fishing lake with the opportunity for a good nature experience as large areas around the lake are nature conservation areas.
There are many nice barbecue areas around the lake and also on Lindholmen which provide good opportunities for all-day activities at Vällen
Boats can be launched at Vällsäter, on the north side of Hallstaviksvägen where it crosses Vällen and Vällenbadet, but this must be done with great consideration for bathers, i.e. not suitable times other than early morning and evening during the bathing season (nor during rainy seasons when damage to the lawn down to the beach must be avoided!
