Ymsen is a 1300 ha large flat lake surrounded by forest, marsh and agricultural land. Here the visitor has access to a peaceful fishing environment. There are connections from the public road in several places. Max. depth approx. 4 m. The bottom consists mainly of clay with elements of hard bottom in the shore zone. The ice sets early so winter fishing with ice is popular. In summer, angling is the fishing method that most often pays off. There are at least 12 species of fish in the lake. The most common are pike perch, pike, perch, roach, bream and bream
