Nuolajärvi
Nuolajärvi is easily accessible within the Gällivare urban area. Rainbow trout are released in June every year with a fishing premiere on Midsummer Eve. In addition to rainbows, there are also trout and perch in the lake. What few people know is that there are also rudd in the lake and when eliminating perch fishing, rudds of up to 2.8 kg have been caught in a single brook trout.
There are plenty of piers, fire pits and walkways around the lake. Some of the piers are also accessible. Please note that a special fishing license is required for fishing in Nuolajärvi.
