Revsundssjön has a varied character with large open waters, bays and narrow passages. In the middle of Revsundsjön lies a large island, Ammerön, which creates this varied water.
Revsundsjön is one of the most fish-rich waters in Jämtland. The Gimå trout is the "pride" of the water, but the water also contains three other trout strains. The diversity of perch, pike, grayling, etc., provides an interesting and varied fishing.
A boat trip around Ammerön is a rich experience in terms of fishing and the surrounding nature.
You can find accommodation in several places around the lake, or in your own tent. Nautical charts of the lake are available for purchase.
