With its 4912 hectares, Färnebofjärden is one of the largest bays in the long course of the Dalälven River, all the way from the Norwegian mountains to the Bothnian Sea.
In Färnebofjärden, you have a fishery that offers a variety of different environments with many fishing methods to choose from. Wide bays, narrow straits, 23 meters deep or shallow underwater ridges in sand or boulders, no wonder the fish thrive.
Färnebofjärden is known for its rich wildlife in the water, air and on land. This is one of the many reasons why Färnebofjärden was named a national park.
