Lejondalssjön hyser de vanligaste fiskarterna, såsom gädda, abborre, braxen, lake, sutare m.m. samt ett bestånd av signalkräfta. En ”nygammal fisk” sedan några år är gösen. Både I:1:s fiskeförening och Bro Sportfiskeklubb har satt ut gös och det finns ett litet bestånd. Sjön ligger delvis i ett naturskönt reservat. Friluftsfrämjandet håller den lilla friluftsgården Hällkana öppen på helgerna, där finns en trevlig servering
