About the water
Molkosjön, south of Molkom city is a diverse lake with agglomeration in the north, holiday houses to the west, open landscape to the southeast and dense forest to the east. The maximum depth is 13 meters and the surface is about 500 ha. We fish mainly perch, perch and pike, but also whitefish.
Welcome to Molkomsjön! Here you can fish with a fishing rod, spinning rod or fly rod. The size for walleye will be between 45 -75 cm.
Children up to 17 years of age can fish free of charge!

Molkomsjöns fiskevårdsområdesförening är en aktiv förening som arbetar för att skapa ett hållbart fiske i Molkomsjön och utveckla de stora rekreationsmöjligheter som sjön och deras omgivningar erbjuder. Föreningen bildades 1936 som fiskevårdsförening men ombildades 1987 till fiskevårdsområdesförening.
