Vindelgransele SFF ligger cirka 80 km NV om Lycksele längs V 363.
I området finns några av Vindelälvens finaste laxfiskesträckor och här finns ett flertal forssträckor och stryckor.
Dessutom ingår sjöarna Kvarnträsket och Innerst-Mitti och Ytterstsmåträsket.

Längsta selet, nedströms forsrikaste sträckan söder Djupselforsen.
Från Åtjärnforsen i norr till Storforsen i söder.
Tätorten Vindelgransele ligger 70 km söder om Sorsele och 75 km norr om Lycksele.
