Anvikssjön utgör en del av Revsundssjön som rinner ut i Gimån och har förbindelse med det övriga vattenområdet via ett smalt sund. Området sträcker sig från Pilgrimstad till sundet vid Revsunds kyrka. Även några mindre sjöar och tjärnar ingår i fiskevårdsområdet som Svänglingen, Öster-Andsjön och Vaplan. God tillgång på öring, aborre, sik och gädda. Möjlighet att håva sik i Hållborgsån och i Anviksbäcken oktober till december. En fantastisk natur runt om sjön med flera grillplatser och vindskydd. Småbåtshamn med båtramp finns i Pilgrimstad med närhet till E14.
