Sjön Hyllen ingår i Bräkneåns vattensystem och är belägen nord/väst om Tingsryd. Den är cirka 5 kilometer lång och med ett medeldjup på ungefär 1,8m. Hyllen är en så kallad källsjö och är fri från tillförsel av andra föroreningar än de luftburna.
