Bäcksjö Båt- och fiskeklubb Bäcksjön, Umeå kommun

Bäcksjön is a lake in Umeå municipality in Västerbotten, which is part of the Sävarån-Tavelån coastal area. The lake is drained by the Hjåggmarksbäcken watercourse. The lake is approximately 2.5 kilometers long from north to south, and just over 1 kilometer wide at its widest point. Most of the lake has a depth of 3-4 meters. The lake is naturally home to perch, pike, roach and roach, as well as introduced trout and rainbow trout. Bäcksjön has three larger islands, and some smaller ones. One of the larger islands has a barbecue area and wind shelter. There are four bathing beaches by the lake, one in the northern part, two in the eastern part and one in the western part of the lake. There is also a bathing area at the southern tip of the lake. The land around the lake is largely owned by the Swedish Forest Agency, and Bäcksjö Boat and Fishing Club manages the fishing rights in the lake.
