Området, ca 6,5 mil, består av sträckan mellan Volgsjöns fvo (Volgsjöfors damm) och till Åsele tätort. Här finns fiske efter ett flertal arter som öring, harr, abborre, gädda, sik, lake och mört. Området är upplåtet för sportfiske med flugspö och spinnspö, även från båt.Samtliga vatten inom är upplåtna för fiske med handredskap. Ångermanälven gäller Harr 3 st kort/dygn minimimått 30 cm. Abborrsjön i Åsele gäller 3 fisk per kort/dygn minimimått 30 cm.
