Welcome to Ivösjöns Fiskevårdsförening
Ivösjön is with an area of 54 km2 the biggest lake in Skåne. The lake’s average depth is 10,5 meters and maximum depth is 50 meters. It is located in a very hilly and scenic area in northeastern Skåne between Bromölla and Kristianstad.
Since 1954 Ivösjöns Fiskevårdsförening administrates Ivösjön through a lease agreement with the owners of fishing rights that is organized in Ivösjön fishery conservation association. The last 15 years Levrasjön, located east of Ivösjön, was also leased by Levrasjöns fishery conservation association.
The association welcomes all interested in fishing, who by paying the membership fee of SEK 300, can become a member of the association and may fish for a whole year in Ivösjön and Levrasjön.
Ivösjön is known for a very large perch population that feed on the big smelt shoals that swim in the lake. The zander population has after a long slump recovered and is growing every year. The pike population is strong and many pikes of 10-15 kg have been caught in the lake. Levrasjön is a lake that is rich in fish with good perch and pike fishing.
The association’s goal is to responsibly care for the environment of Ivösjön and Levrasjön, the fish stocks and to offer all members and fishing license buyers a fantastic fishing in a stunning natural setting.

Fishing licenses are valid for both Ivösjön and Levrasjön.
You can also buy cards at the tourist offices in Bromölla and Kristianstad and the hardware store ”Bröderna” in Bromölla.
