Åklången är en långsmal sjö till stor del obebodd och orörd. Åklången är en del av Upperudsälven och Dalslands-Kanal. Areal: 160 ha. Det finns tyvärr ingen möjlighet att lägg i båtar utan det måste ske norr eller söder om slussarna Buterud och Håverud. Kanotuthyrning finns i Håverud och Dals Långed. För fiske från land går det bra att nå sjön via Sundserud badplats (Åsensbruk).
