Lake Ängsjön is 164 hectares large and very long and narrow. In addition to perch, the lake has a natural population of char and a small population of trout.
The association has built an overnight cabin on the island of Kullerholmen that can be booked by those who have purchased a fishing license. Bookings are made under the fishing license tab.
In addition, there are a number of boats that fishing license holders can borrow, see markings on the map. The boats are taken up on October 1st each year and put back into the lake in the spring when the ice has melted. Within the fisheries management area there are also several ponds in which you can catch perch and pike. At Rötjärnet there are two boats to borrow.
The association manages the fishing in Lake Ängsjön, Rötjärnet, Gettjärnet, Lomtjärnet, Vianstjärnet, Bicktjärnet, Stubbtjärnet, Bergtjärn and Märrtjärnet.
Ängens FVO is a protected area for crayfish. Information signs are placed around the lake and are also available as a .pdf for download.
