The Västra Långserud fishing conservation area belongs to Säffle municipality in southwestern Värmland, whose lake system is part of the Lillälven water system. A water system that begins in the Glaskogen nature reserve and winds its way through the lakes in our fishing conservation area to finally flow into the Byälven River.
A fishing license entitles you to fish in the lakes Björnklammen, Öjesjön, Vålungen, Myrsjön, Siketjärnet and Mögsjön as well as the smaller ponds that drain into these lakes. Öjesjön is the largest lake in the area with the most fish species. Fishing is mostly for pike, perch, whitefish, chub, brook trout and roach.
There is little development in the area and if you want to experience an untouched natural environment together with fishing and only the sounds of the forest and water, there is a great opportunity for that.
