From Bräkne-Hoby: Drive towards Backaryd for about 4km, turn left towards Björkeryd, drive about 3.5 km and pass the bridge over the Bräkneån, follow the descriptions on the map. Fish species: Pike, Perch, Roach, Bream, Tench, Rudd and Trout. The Bräkneån offers good spin fishing for pike and good angling for perch and bream. There are also trout in flowing water. The opportunities for fishing from land are good. Suitable places for pike fishing and angling are upstream of Örseryds mill and at Sävsjömåla, Trånhem and Röaby.
