About the water
Emsen is a shallow and nutritious lake with a varying population of pike-perch. In addition to pike-perch, there are pike, perch and a rich population of whitefish.
Lillsjön can be found directly adjacent to RV 62 south of Olsäter. The population consists mainly of pike, perch and whitefish.
Emsen and Lillsjön are located west of RV 62 north of Deje. To get to Emsen, turn onto the slip road towards Västsjö and you will arrive at a barbecue area with good fishing spots after 600-700 m.

Föreningen förvaltar fisket i Emsen och Lillsjön, norr om Deje.
En fiskevårdsplan finns och med hjälp av elever från Sportfiskeakademin har 8 risvasar byggts sedan 2012.
Omfattande algblomning förekommer ofta under sommaren vilket påverkar fisket negativt.
4-5 juli 2026 pågår fisketävling för 2-mannalag som använder tillgängliga fiskeplatser på västra sidan, bl.a. vid rastplatsen. Söndagkväll är platserna tillgängliga för kortköpare.
