The Krycklan fishing area is dominated by the Krycklan, which flows into the Vindelälven River at Överrödå. In addition, there are a number of ponds in the area.
The Krycklan and a number of smaller tributaries offer fishing for trout, brook trout and occasionally grayling. Some stretches of the Krycklan are rough and therefore perhaps less suitable for inexperienced fishermen.
The ponds contain populations of primarily perch, pike and roach. Rainbow trout are stocked every year in Kåtatjärn, Trehörningstjärn and Käls Kryckeltjärn. At Trehörningstjärn, Käls Kryckeltjärn and Näverlidtjärn there is a windbreak and barbecue area and there you can also back down close to the water with a boat trailer. Please bring wood if you intend to grill. As long as fishermen jointly purchase fishing licenses, we will be able to continue stocking rainbow trout every year.
