Fishing ban in Käyräjärvi from Friday 25 September. Premiere date will be announced in February.
In Lake Käyräjärvi there are planted fish, rainbow trout.
In Kalixälven we have fine fishing waters with salmon, grayling, trout, etc. The stretch we manage starts at the border of Lapland and ends just below Pahakurkkio. A very scenic area with, among other things, a 3 km long rapid with rocky beaches.
In winter, the area can only be reached by snowmobile or skis as the road is not plowed.
At Saarikoski there are cottages for rent. Saarikoski Norra with 8 beds, Saarikoski Södra with 6 beds. These share a wood-fired sauna. In addition, there is Friggeboden a little further away with 2 beds, no sauna.
At Lake Käyräjärvi there are the following cottages:
Käyräjärvi Norra with 8 beds, Käyräjärvi Södra with 8 beds. These share a sauna.
On the other side of the lake is Bevakarstugan with 5 beds, its own sauna.
All cabins are equipped with a gas stove, wood stove, some pots and cutlery, mattresses, blankets and pillows. Outdoor toilet. Bring your own bed linen and toilet paper. The cabins are cleaned by the tenants when they leave the cabin. Keys are collected and left at Saittaboden in a key cabinet unless otherwise agreed.
