Stora Hålsjön is a medium-sized lake of about 400ha where parts of the northern side are bordered by vertical cliff walls. The lake is connected to Viskan by a 2km dug canal (Husån). The fish species found are perch, bream, pike, zander, roach, roach, whitefish, eel, tench, bream, chub & smelt. .
