Fishing licenses are only valid in Stora Holmsjön. Stora Holmsjön is a spring lake that lacks any real inflow except drainage from surrounding forests. The lake is at most about 15 meters deep. Since the water is nutrient-poor, there are no reeds along the shores. The lake consists mostly of solid bottom.
