Strömfiske Alsterån

Through Småland's green and deep forests, the Alsterån river flows, a fishing idyll right in the heart of Småland's Glasriket/Kingdom of Crystal. 15 km of the river is part of Strömfiske Alsterån, which is managed by us at Vidinge Gård, where a large part of the stretch flows through uninhabited wilderness. Here is an original strain of browntrout and in addition there is annual releases of selected high-quality spawning fish that have grown in naturally flowing water.The river changes between hard-flowing stretches, sometimes in hard-to-reach places through wild nature, to calm-flowing areas with marshy meadows and ponds and in a couple of places along the calmer areas there are jetties.Fishing offers opportunities for pure fly fishermen as well as spin fishermen. Fishing in the river is a natural fishing in the wild and can always be considered challenging. You often have to look for the fish, but for the patient it is a wonderful experience.
