Tärna-Stensele Allmänningsskog (TSA), är c:a 55 000ha stort och har sitt kärnområde mellan Storuman och Tärnaby. Marken angränsar till Vindelnfjällets naturreservat i Norr, Ryfjällsmassivet och Gardfjällsmassivet i Väster. Området präglas av fjällnära skog, myrar och skogstjärnar, bäckar samt Ume älv.
Allmänningen beskriver skogsbruk, säljer jakt och fiskeupplåtelser.
Tillkomsten skedde för drygt hundra år sedan och området ägs gemensamt av ägarna till c:a 600 enskilt ägda s.k. delägarfastigheter. TSA förvaltas av en styresle och anställd personal.
