The Barkensjöarnas Fiskevårdsområde Association manages the fisheries that are part of the Barkensjöarnas Fiskevårdsområde in Smedjebacken municipality, Kopparberg county, and part of Norberg and Fagersta municipalities in Västmanland county.

The association's purpose is to coordinate fishing operations and fisheries management, to promote the common interests of fishing right holders, and to enable the granting of fishing rights to the public through the sale of fishing licenses.
