The fisheries management area was established in 1994 and has since worked hard to provide visitors with a pleasant stay.

We are also working hard to strengthen the legendary rainbow trout population, by restoring streams around Vattudalen to ensure hiking trails, and annually releasing yellow-sac rainbow trout fry.

The area is also included in the Vattudalskortet and Ströms Vattudal Trollingkortet.
