Fågelberget is located on road 342, the wilderness road towards Gäddede, 100 km north of Strömsund

We offer fishing in a scenic mountainous wilderness area, with many waters with natural fish stocks of trout and char, 27 lakes and ponds are open for sport fishing.

A project is underway to recreate the migration of large trout, of the stock of arctic trout, in the fish ladder in Bågede, for the possibility of further migration to spawning areas, to the watercourse upstream of Fågelsjön-Hetögeln. Migration control and biotope conservation measures are underway. Fish and fry of arctic trout are released into the watercourse annually.
