The Flen Fishing Area Association was founded in 1990 with the aim of coordinating fishing operations and fisheries management. The aim is also to promote the common interests of the members and to grant fishing rights.

The Flen FVOF includes Lake Flen in Karlstorp parish, Jönköping County, and a member is anyone who owns property with fishing rights in the lake. The association's activities cover all fishing in the area and the goal is to be able to offer both fishing license holders and members a varied and enjoyable fishing experience.

Every year a highly appreciated fishing competition is arranged on the lake.
