The Frissjöns Fiskevårdsområdesförening was formed in 1985 by all fishing water owners forming the association.

The purpose is to coordinate how fishing is conducted and to allow fishing to the public. The association's goal is to ensure that Frissjöns maintains good water quality by following the sampling that is done and possibly supplementing them.
