The purpose of Hån-Vemdalens FVOF is to coordinate fishing and fisheries management, promote the common interests of fishing right holders, taking into account the regulations that apply to fishing, and to grant fishing rights to the public. The association manages the fishing in the Hån-Vemdalens fiskevårdsområde in Vemdalen parish, Härjedalen municipality, Jämtland county.

The area consists of the fishing in the properties that have fishing rights in all water areas within the Kyrkbyn, Hån and Kvisthåns skifteslag and within Henvålen in Vemdalen.
