Karlskoga and Degerfors municipalities collaborate on tourism and visitor issues.

The Karlskoga Degerfors Tourist Fishing Card is the result of a collaboration between Möckelns FVOF, Ölen-Storbjörkens FVOF and Svartå Fiskeområde. In 2016, we started the project "Karlskoga Degerfors - a fishing destination" together with support from Region Örebro County and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth. Part of the project was to make it easier for our visitors interested in fishing, who find it difficult to know which fishing card to buy and which rules apply to different lakes. The project also developed a web app, fiskekartan.karlskoga.nu, where all lakes in Karlskoga and Degerfors are on a map with a description of which fishing cards apply.
