Mjörns FVOF manages the fisheries in Mjörn which is located in Alingsås and Lerum municipality about 35 km NE of Gothenburg.

The surface area is about 57 sq m and has a maximum depth of about 52 m. There are many different sized islands in the lake and some are inhabited year-round. The lake has a so-called inland sea where the depth is between 20-40 m.

Here there are pike perch and smelt as food for the pelagic fish such as pike perch and lake trout which are classified as of national interest.

Close to Gothenburg with the German terminal and Landvetter airport.
