Welcome to Ömmern, Ören and Nären's fisheries conservation area!

Ömmern's Fishing Association started back in 1936. The fisheries conservation area was formed in 1985.

Among other things, the association has made spawning improvements in Laxån in the hope that the trout population will increase.

Large releases of trout smolt have also taken place in 1985 and 1985, but the results were disappointing as the recapture was less than expected.

The fisheries conservation area is working continuously to maintain the availability of trout.
