Östervallskogs FVO was formed in 1989 with the aim of promoting and developing fishing and fish conservation. The fishing area consists of approximately 500 fishing right owners distributed over 12-13 households. The fishing area association is active in fish conservation work through various environmentally friendly fish conservation measures to create good conditions for long-term sustainable fish populations, interesting for both tourist fishing and domestic fishing.
