Tattartjärn, Ljustjärn and Norstjärn are three dead ice pits from the last ice age. These ponds are maintained by Riddarhyttans Fiskevårdsförening, which is an old non-profit association. The association also regularly stocks the cabin pond below the campsite.

The area around the ponds is well-organized with barbecue areas, shelters, toilets and nice disabled and fly piers for pleasant fishing both summer and winter.

Within walking distance you can reach the lakes from the incredibly beautiful Liens Camping, which has both caravan sites, tent sites and cabins. www.lienscamping.se
