Säffle Sportfiskeförening is responsible for fishing activities such as the sale of fishing licenses and supervision within Säffle Municipality's leased waters in Byälven.

The waters extend from the northern tip of Röllseholmen out to Låka lighthouse and are divided into 3 different zones. The waters are also part of the Harefjorden fishing conservation area, but are divided into two different associations.
