Fishing opens again on August 25.

The Säveån is one of southern Sweden's most interesting fishing waters. On the stretch between Hedefors and Floda, i.e. within the fishery conservation area, there is a genuine stationary trout population. The fishing stretches are mostly within the Säveån nature reserve. The Floda and Stenkullen sport fishing associations are sponsors of the fishery conservation stretch and conduct supervision and fishery conservation together with the fishery conservation area Säveåns Övre fiskevårdsområdesförening.
