Storsandsjön's fishing area is located centrally in the municipality, about 15 km north of Vindeln.
Storsandsjön is best known for its fine trout, where trolling fishing for these has yielded catches of over 6 kg. Large perch of about 2 kg are also caught in the lake. Since the beginning of the 80s, trout have been constantly released into the lake, on average every other year. In addition to Storsandsjön and Mjösjön, which dominate the area, there are a number of ponds such as Ristjärn, where there has previously been put & take fishing.
NOTE!! No release of game fish in Ristjärn this year, therefore fishing in Ristjärn is included in the usual daily/annual pass
