SFK Spöfolket is a non-profit association founded in 1978. The club is open to anyone who is interested – young and old. The club conducts youth activities and sport fishing activities.

The club has been leasing Vällingasjön from Ljungby Municipality since 1990. The club is affiliated with the Swedish Sport Fishing and Fisheries Association.
