The fisheries management area was started in the seventies when the health of the lakes deteriorated significantly. A lot of work was done, including liming, which saved the regeneration of certain species. In addition, the public was given the opportunity to fish.

Today, we work mostly with fishing license sales and boat rentals, and we follow the county administrative boards' work with our lakes, regeneration, water quality, etc.
