Yngens FVOF manages the fishing in Lake Yngen.

The association's purpose is, among other things, to coordinate fishing, fishery management and grant fishing rights to the public, as well as to promote the common interests of fishing right holders.

The area also includes Filipstad Municipal Fishing Card. The Municipal Fishing Card is a collaboration between the fishing area associations Alstern-Lungens FVOF, Grundsjöhyttans FVOF, Horssjön-Långbans FVOF, Rämens FVOF, Yngens FVOF, Aspen-Daglösens FVOF, Gåsborns FVOF, Nordmarksälvens FVOF and Skåltjärnshyttans FVOF.
